| Healthcare and Retirement Needs |
| |
An equally critical area of need is funding for healthcare and retirement for the Sisters themselves.
While recent contributions of Catholics in the United States are helping defray retirement expenses for all religious congregations, the funds are modest in proportion to the need. For example, Sisters who taught in certain dioceses in New York receive under $50 annually for each five years of service. |

Mount Saint Vincent, Wellesley, MA, is home to some 90 Sisters. A major renovation project has been completed at Mount Saint Vincent in Wellesley that helped transform the present environment, which was designed for much younger residents, into one more suited to the needs of the elderly. The Congregation has received Religious Level IV licensing for the building from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The continued partnership and support of the Congregation's family and friends is welcome. |
